Gustav Klimt was an Austrian painter and formed part of the Vienna Art Noveau art movement. His works often took inspiration from the female form, and this particular design is inspired from the decoration pattern work of the Frieze (1909).
As with the rest of the Klimt collection this comes as a gift set with two pewter nip cups and a pewter funnel.
